Arturo Castro is a Guatemalan actor best known for his portrayal of Jaimé Castro on the Comedy Central series Broad City, and David Rodríguez on the Netflix series Narcos. Castro hosted his own show, Conexion, on Guatemala's national network, a year before moving to New York City. In New York, he attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, and where he met Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer and landed the role of Jaimé in Broad City. Castro had one of the leading roles in Ang Lee's war drama Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk, playing Marcellino "Mango" Montoya, a member of Billy Lynn's Bravo Squad.- Arturo Castro was the nephew of Lupe Rivas Cacho (1894-1975), who the first actress to star in a Mexican silent film, "la muerte civil," 1918. Castro and his brothers, Javier Polivo, & Antonio, were part of a family of Mexican entertainers. Their children currently have become what is known as the Castro dynasty of entertainers. Arturo's son Benito is a singer, songwriter, comedian, & actor, who along with his cousins, Gualberto, son of Antonio, Arturo, & Javier sons of Javier Polvio, the late Jorge Castro, who was also brother to Arturo & Javier, whose son Jorge Jr., form currently the well-known musical group "Los Hermanos Castro," The Brothers Castro. Arturo "El Bigoton" Castro began his career as a comedian in the Mexican Carpas, gradually he moved into nightclubs, theaters, & film.

- Arturo Alejandro Castro, a young Latino male originally from West Aurora, IL (Chicagoland area) where he participated in theatre throughout most of his school life allowing him the opportunity to strive for a chance to utilize his artistic abilities. His parents influenced him to move to Mexico City where he attended several acting programs at the Actors Studio of Patricia Reyes Espindola. Arturo developed his craft with a great influence from the Stanislavski method and perfected his native language of Spanish. After two years of living on his own in Mexico City, he decided to move to Los Angeles, CA in 2008 and begin his acting career. After several years of gaining experience in the acting industry, Arturo returned home to develop his education in fitness and holistic nutrition where he has dedicated his his lifestyle to fit more athletic roles and fitness modeling. Arturo returned to Los Angeles, CA in early 2018 to continue his career in acting, commercial and print.
